"The Savior emphasized the importance of keeping records. And one of the most valuable records is the one you keep of your own life." Spencer W. Kimball
I found a picture of Madison and Morgan and was thinking of how Desirae and Maggie would hopefully be close friends. Which got me wondering what Maggie will look like...And then I wondered what our baby could look like if we have a boy.
Ah there's nothing like the feeling of warm, curdy spit up running down your bare arm. For those of you who know what I'm talking about, you're probably chuckling. Of course this is not the first time. And for some reason Desi smiles after she has spit up or pooped on me. I'm just glad that I still have awhile before her diapers really start stinking!
We went to see Grandma Thomson last night and she was so excited to see Desirae. She said she was a perfect little angel. Desi even woke up when we got there and was content almost the entire time.
Today is our three year anniversary! It seems like a long time ago that we were married but I can remember certain details like it was just the other day. I remember walking to our car after the sealing and realizing that I was actually married. I remember coming back to our house and changing my clothes only to have Tom walk in on me which I forgot was okay. I remember Laura wanting us to stay and open our presents after the reception but my back hurt from standing so long. And most of all I remember what wonderful feelings hit me as I walked into the sealing room holding hands with Tom. I feel so grateful to have been able to convince someone like Tom to marry me. I have such an amazing husband who loves me even with my weaknesses and stretch marks. I love him so very much and can't imagine my life without him!
I took this a few days ago after I had finally bought a swing. She likes it for 5-15 minutes and then is done. But it's so cute because she'll smile and coo at the animals on the mobile.
You know you're getting old when your birthday feels like any other day. I don't know if it is from being married, having a kid or just getting older. And I know I'm not even that old yet! I guess watching my younger brothers, nieces and nephews grow up makes me feel older faster. I now know for a fact that the older you get, the faster time goes by!
