Poor Desi

Desi had a bad day two weeks ago! First, I had her ears pierced. I felt horrible because she cried but even worse, I think it was worth it! They are so cute! I had thought about it off and on and Tom actually really wanted me to do it. Weird, huh? Well, that night I went to Old Navy with Erin, Maggie and Desi. And being the carefree or should I say careless mother that I am, I let Desi stand in the cart. She's done this tons before and never had a problem because she screams when I belt her in. We were headed to the checkout when I stopped to look at the baby swimsuits and show one to Erin. BAM! You guessed it...Desi had tried to climb out of the cart and fallen on the floor. (I should have known better especially because she had been trying to climb everything for a few days.) The following pictures will show you what can happen if you don't follow those instructions on the cart! She must have smacked her forehead on the metal bar and somehow flipped over because she was on her back. An Old Navy employee took down my information so she could fill out an accident report form and gave Desi an ice pack and sucker. Oh man, what a day!

Tell Tom we can't all be smart as he is! (Retard.)

Desi's earrings are cute. (I had the feeling Erin was the one to talk you into it!)

Oh man, tht bump looks so sad in those pictures, but nothing like it was before...seriously even just looking at it again makes me kind of queasy!

I have to agree with tom, the Thomson's are genius' but I might be a little biest. Jam looks delicious. We just pulled some of the last of our raspberry jam out of the freezer to have with homemade rolls for dinner. Nothing tastes better!
